Oxo humidifier
Brief:
Design a humidifier that has the design language of the brand OXO.
Market Research
There were holes in the market for large cheap humidifiers, and high-end portable humidifiers
Inspiration Board
Ideation
After exploring different forms and uses for the humidifier, I chose this design because of it’s ergonomic handle. OXO is known for their ergonomic grips, so this humidifier would fit their brand language. It would be filled up under the sink with the handle comfortably resting in a wrist position.
Mock Ups
For OXO’s humidifier, I wanted to make it more portable and ergonomic with OXO’s good grips.
Final Model
The ergonomic handle and the placement of the opening is great for refilling it. The size and the shape also promote it’s portability.
